Fees & Insurance
No surprises, ever
Money is one of the easiest parts of therapy to make stressful, so here it is up front, in plain language, before you ever pick up the phone.
Insurance is not accepted, and here's why that can still work for you
Skyward is a private-pay practice: you pay the practice directly instead of routing care through an insurance plan. Practically, that means no diagnosis required for billing purposes, no session limits set by a third party, and no one outside this room deciding how long your care should last.
Superbills are available upon request
A superbill is simply an itemized receipt you can send to your insurer. Many plans carry out-of-network benefits that reimburse a meaningful share of the cost. Whether they do, and how much, is your plan's call rather than this practice's. One short phone call to the number on your insurance card, asking about out-of-network outpatient mental health coverage, usually settles it. Bring what you learn to the consult and Dr. Minkovich will help you make sense of it.
The numbers, stated plainly
- Initial intake
- $300
- Ongoing 50-minute session
- $250
Fees for diagnostic assessment and consultation depend on scope, so exact figures are shared during the free 15-minute call, and you will never be asked to schedule before you know what something costs. If cost is the thing standing in your way, say so on that call; it's a normal conversation here, not an awkward one.
When and how sessions happen
Sessions are currently offered virtually, with evening and weekend availability, built for people with school, jobs, and commutes. To ask about openings, email skywardpsychotherapy@gmail.com or call 856-521-1771.
Questions, meet answers
Start where it's easiest: a 15-minute call
Fifteen minutes, no charge, no pressure, no intake paperwork. You describe what's going on in your own words, Dr. Minkovich tells you honestly whether she's the right fit, and if she isn't, she'll point you somewhere better.
